Built by a landlord, for landlords

LandlordDesk grew out of the tools one family uses to run a six-flat building in Chennai. They are shared here free, for anyone in India who lets out a flat, a floor or a small building.

What it is

Plain calculators and records for the moments that cause arguments: revising the rent, returning the deposit, deciding whether an AC is worth buying, keeping track of who paid what, and recording the state of the flat at handover. Everything works on a phone, shows amounts in rupees the Indian way, and gives you a note you can send to the tenant.

What it is not

It is not legal, tax or financial advice, and it is not a rent-collection service. There is no sign-up, no subscription and no data collection: your figures never leave your device (see Privacy).
